I take my birth control pills normally around the same time everyday. When I miss one I take two the next day at normal time. Two weeks ago I had unprotected sex and I was on my period. Could I be pregnant?
It's possible. I would have you check wsith your Dr on this (he/she can test you) and also ask if doubling up is a wise thing to do. Hope this helps.
Only a less then 1% chance. As long as you are taking your birth control correctly that's your chance. You are protected all the time. It never occurred to me to even think about another form of birth control when I was on the pill, now all you girls are worried if the condom breaks or something. You need condoms for protection from disease only when on the pill.
If you take your active pills properly, you are protected even on your inactive pills (period week) No worries! If you miss a pill, you should take it as soon as you remember then take that days at the normal time. If you dont discover the miss until it is time for the next days dose, you can take two at a time, then you really should use back up protection, like a condom, for seven days following the miss.
