... the thing is I couldn't get an appointment until 2 days after my pack ended (so two days after the sugar pill week). I usually start them on Monday but this time because I got the pack late, so I had to start taking them on a Wednesday. So, I took them for 4 days at the same time and on the fourth day, I had unprotected sex. My question is did the pill stop working when missed those first two days of when I was supposed to be back on it? Therefore did it not protect me when I had unprotected sex that Saturday?

But I didn't begin to worry until now. So that day I had unprotected sex on January 17th, 10 days later I got my period. Which was 2 weeks before my expected period but I'm not so sure it was my period because it only lasted a day or two but it was pretty heavy the first day. I researched pregnancy symptoms and it said between 6-12 days you can experience spotting and I wondered if his was it? I also wondered if I experienced this bleeding because I missed taking the pill for a whole day 3 days before getting this? Anyways weeks when by and the week I was actually supposed to get my period, I didn't. I also wondered if I missed it because maybe those two days of bleeding was my actually my period for that month? Thats why I'm concerned.
You do not try to catch up with that happens unless its only 1 or 2 pills. You start with day 1 and you use a condom for 7 days. You needed a condom from the day after the last sugar pill. You weren't protected. And if you miss 2 pills in a row, you take 2 pills, 2days in a row, not take them all at once. I'd go back and read the directions if I were you.
