I took emergency contraceptive two days ago. I continued to take my birth control as usual. Does emergency contraceptive make my birth control less effective?
Why in the heck did you do that? You are on birth control, which is more then 99% effective and you add to it something that is 80% effective and that's helping? Keep taking your pill, you've always been protected, and now you've probably screwed up your cycle for a month, and you'll have bleeding at odd times. The words BIRTH CONTROL say it all, it controls births, you don't need any other means of protection from pregnancy. And you almost never need emergency contraceptives. You are protected.
