Birth Control prescription question?

Hi! So my girlfriend and me are wanting to get Birth Control. Which shouldn't be a big deal as we are both adults. The problem is that her dad is a doctor and her primary physician and also very religious. We have moved out of state so she has to see doctors down here if she goes in for anything. She is scared that if she gets a prescription down here that he will find out since he is still her primary physician.
Is their anyway for us to get birth control without him being able to find out?
I would have thought the war on drugs hasn't reached birth control yet? I hope anyway... As far as I am aware no central authority has to be informed about anyone on birth control regardless (with the exception of certain medical treatments where contracts need to be signed about mandatory birth control and they are private files). Unless your partner gives specific instructions to release her medical files to her father the whole thing will/should remain a complete secret.
I seriously doubt that he would even bother to try to find out except by directly asking you.
