... Started taking the pill as soon as my dr gave them to me. I missed my period for the whole first month. Finally got my period & started taking the inactive pink pills but my period hasn't gone away at all & I'm already out of the pink pill on my second month pack. What do I do? I'm confused
You sure are. You never change your schedule. If you started bleeding on the active pills, its just because your getting used to it. You should not have been taking the inactive pills until you finished the active pills and you don't take the ones from your second pack. You take all the active pills in the pack, then the inactive ones. Then you start the active pills in the next pack. Always, you never change this. What you need to do is start the active pills in the second pack. Be sure you use a condom for the first week. When you get to where you have taken all the active pills, Do not take any pills for a week. Then start the next pack.
