I have a three pack of Generess Fe birth control pills that were prescribed to me last year. I want to start taking them now, but want to make sure they haven't expired. I have checked every inch of the packaging and cannot find a "use by" date. Is there a standard expiration period for birth control pills?

Most medications are good for about 18 months but in the absence of any information the contrary, I'd ask a pharmacy.
