Hello, I have been on the birth control pill mononessa for 3 weeks. I have finished all of my blue active pills and I am currently on my third sugar pill. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on Sunday in the pool (he ejaculated in me) . The day after (Monday) I got my period. Can I be pregnant? That Sunday I started on my first sugar pill. I have never missed a pill and I ALWAYS take my pill at the SAME TIME EVERYDAY. Can I be pregnant?
Why would you think you were pregnant? You got your period, that's a pretty good sign there's no baby. You have less then a 1% chance of pregnancy because you are taking them perfectly.
Bleeding is NOT a sign of pregnancy! How many times a day does this have to be said on this site?? If you take all your active pills on time every day, then you are protected even when you are on the inactive pills of your period week. When you first start the pill, your period may come early, may come on time or may come late. It can take 3-6 months before you regulate out and bleed where you are supposed to. Women dont always bleed on the first "sugar" pill/inactive pill either. It can come anytime that week, even the last day. And you never, ever want to alter your pill schedule once you start no matter what your body is doing or not doing. No matter where your bleeding starts, take the inactive pills in order and start your new pack when you are done with the previous one whether you are bleeding, done or not. OK?
In my experience with this when I finish a pack, I start my period within 4 days. (It is my preference)I dont take reminder pills. But Im not new to taking the pill. #motherof4
