I took birth control as directed, perfectly but took plan b for peace of mind, and after I took it I resumed pills normally, am I still protected after that?
Yes you were & are protected by your regular birth control, & didn't need the extra artificial hormone in Plan B. It's likely it will mess up your menstrual cycle for a month or two. You may not get any periods, or they could be irregular. It's a HUGE dose of artificial hormone, on top of the artificial hormone in your regular birth control.
You could also get hormonal symptoms for several weeks. They can be things that you would experience if you were on a period or if you were pregnant.
