I have Bipolar Disorder and will start Remeron for insomnia & panic attacks tonight.
I already take Prozac (off & on 13+ yrs) and currently take Trazadone (300mg) at night — which *did* work, but only 4-5 weeks.
Any/all info that you are willing to share with me will be greatly appreciated.

I had no problems with remeron and for me to sleep better I take 15 mg remeron along with 50 mg trazodone.
The facts stated are accurate. No hidden or secret information.
Hello JulieInWonderland. I do not have Bipolar Disorder, but I have taken 150mgs trazodone with 15mgs remeron. I broke the 15mgs in half 2 nights ago because I was feeling a 'bad drug' in my system. Saw the doctor today and told him I broke it in half, taking the smaller half and felt better. I think remeron was the culprit here. He didn't make a follow up appointment for next month. Taking these 2 medications together can cause serotonin syndrome. It is okay for some individuals to take these 2 meds together, but not everyone. If you have problems with this combination, call your doctor.
