... insurance any suggestions as to some other form of support with out meds? I dnt know What to do
Hi, puzzled! Depending on where you live you could try checking out any mental health centers/clinics. Many can supply sample medications at low to no cost. I get all but my generic medications (which I CAN easily afford) in the form of professional samples. I do have to pick them up every two weeks which is a little inconvenient but much better than going without.
Also, try Googling the name of your drugs and patient assistance programs. Many pharmaceutical houses participate so see if you qualify.
Try asking your PCP if he/she can obtain samples for you.
Drug costs ARE prohibitive for many people but there are many ways around the problem if you get proactive.
I hope all works out well for you! Wildcat
I saw a story on the news yesterday about a website called blink health where you can get your meds at a really low cost but its only for generic. I'm taking lamotrigine and lorazepam as generics which I could get there but I take the brand Lexapro so I wouldn't be able to use the site for that. If worst comes to worst, I'll switch to the generic Lexapro which is Escitalopram I think. Anyway, try it and I hope it helps. :)
