... sleep. Has anyone else ever feel groggy waking up? I also zone out a lot like I don't know where I am. I'm there but I'm not Anyone else have these issues?
I'm on 300mg seroquel also for sleep. I felt groggy in the mornings too at first but just let your body get used to it. If it helps, I would drink an all natural energy drink to wake me up. Just make sure it's all natural, no crazy high sugary caffeine ridden nasty bad-for-you energy drinks. Give your body time to adjust. Good luck! :)
It had me sleeping like that too at first. I have been on Seroquel 300mg since May '14 but it took my brain a while to adjust. But the sleep was very much needed as, obviously, I wasn't. Give it a month, depending on your job, kids, etc whatever & whoever depends on you then see if there are any changes. It took me 3 months to finally get on a good normal 8 hr schedule but that's just me & my past catching up to me. Please let me know how you're doing. :)
Hi, i think, personally, that is quite a high dose to start on, maybe it would have been better to work the dose up to this amount gradually??? I take 200mg XR, have done for about 5 years now, and i still find it a bit difficult getting out of bed in the mornings and do still get a bit tired during the day. I take it for BPD and i really don't believe i could live a good quality of life without it, so i put up with it. Something that may lift your spirits, for the first few months you are adjusting to this new medication, and the side effects will be much elevated, so what you are experiencing now will improve!
