... because I don't tale my meds the Dr just thought it would be better that 80 mg geodon and 5 ability. My question is I heard babies can go through withdrawal on ability maintenance and is there anything at all safer to take while pregnant or do I have to go without for 9 months or longer. Also does anyone know of an assistance program for ability maintenance? It is quite expensive
Hi, ever! Unfortunately, all the anti-psychotics and mood stabilizers have potential complications in pregnancy. That doesn't mean there WILL be a problem, but a percentage of users might. It's what they call a risk -vs- benefit decision.
Ask your dodtor if he can get you samples. I get most of my meds that way. Also, you can go to the manufacturer to see if you qualify for assistance:
Last, you can check out online pharmacies. I get generic Abilify, aripiprazole, from a great Canadian pharmacy. 100
30mg tablets costs $57.00.
Good luck and best wishes!
