Just wanted to post an update on my progress..
I got up this morning feeling like I wanted to sleep in... the weather is cold her in GA, but I forced myself to get up and put on my running clothes! Hubby went with me..and I ran 4 miles with him! It felt great... (the first half mile always sux!) haha but I have finished running and been to work to get the kids off to school, then baked 2 dozen cookies, frisbeed the dogs and now am going to take a shower..I have to go back to work by the time the school bus comes home..but I had to tell you how I feel today..it must've been the flu shot that got me down. I will continue to press on!
LOVE U all for caring!
Better every day?
I am so glad you updated us! Not sure if you saw where I had asked about you on the other post, but I had been thinking of you and wanted to know how your energy levels were doing.
So glad to see you are progressing so well! Very encouraging for me!
Hugs to you,
HIP, HIP, HOORAY! FOR, YOU, YES, YOU-RUNNERMOM!
Oh, did you get the idea I am truly happy for you!
Wow you got some much done today. That is fan-tab-u-lous!!!
Remember today when/if another low day rolls in.
I'll do the same. My day was great, busy, I was very useful, got a lot done, and feel like I've done good!
thanks to you and all who come here!
You rock runner and I love the positive msg that you posted and I am glad that you pushed yourself to jump out of that bed and run with your hubby, I give you much credit and I wish I could jog like I used to everyday before going to work but when I broke my back and smashed my knee and had to have screws and a plate put in I can no longer run and it bums me out soooo much. I would feel so much better when i was able to run 4 to 6 miles every morning and it really would help me clear my mind and put life in perspective.. Just wanted to say that and I'm glad you pushed yourself.. You go girl! LOL... Mick from Chicago..
Hi RMom - That is super, inspirational, great news! Sounds like you stopped beatin' yourself up, slowed down with the expectations, and took it a bit easier on yourself, eh?! Believe me, I am right there with you, girl! After all, most of us can, in some way, relate to the attitude of, "NOW I've stopped, so why don't I feel better, right NOW?"
"By George, I think she's got it!" The Rain in Spain... " La la la la la la:)
