I started using this ointment for my hands back in 2012 because my skin started to peel and after 3 weeks, it healed up. I started using this ointment again because the same issue happened again. I was told by the dermatologist that I can use this for a small hair patch that I currently have. I'm a black man that have wavy hair so I brush my hair, I use shampoo once a week and for almost 3 weeks, I have not been using any type of hair gel for my hair. I've been using betamethasone dipropionate ointment for the small hair patch for almost 3 weeks and it looks like it's not doing anything. I've been using it twice a day. Should I continue to use this ointment for the small hair patch that I have?
