shinsplint treatment, muscle knots, and spasms, seeking help with treatment
Hi ukbadger, If you are a runner, you must take time off, to let shinsplints heal. Muscle spasms can be helped by a muscle relaxer, I use Soma once in a great while, and it helps. But one must be careful while taking Soma, you can take too much.
Perhaps an appointment with a Sports Medicine Professional might be a good idea.
