... her arm.
There are skin care products that are made by neosporin that are supposed to be very good. I used to care for a lady who had it pretty badly. We used Cerave lotion on her skin, but when it got bad she needed triamcinolone cream, which is a prescription cream. The neosporin line wasn't out then.
Funny u should ask this ? as I myself am a women of 50 and have had eczema all my life, it seems like my out breaks come out more frequent when i am stressed, but I am sorry I can't remember the name but they just came out with something that they sell in like walgreen, or cvs etc... I forget as I said what it is called but u can just go to your local pharmacy and ask them what they have just came out with over the counter for eczema, cause I no it was over the counter...
or u can go the root of going to a dermatolagist and they will write your daughter out a script, trust me I no how she feel, I use to just get it on my elbows, now I get it on my ends of my fingers and it's ugly looking when the breakouts happen, mine look like little tiny blisters, the kind u get under your toungue if u had to much acidy food, and it itches so bad u want to rip your skin off, and then fluid comes out when u scratch and break the blusters open... sorry for the long biography, but you just helped me by me trying to help you cause I have been breaking out to and keep forgeting to ask the pharmacy... lol well good luck and I hope your daughter gets some relief when u get something, cause trust me it is very unnerving... best wishes
If the OTC products end up not working for your daughter, my daughter and I have had great success using Lidex cream. It is a prescription and there is a generic which is pretty inexpensive. It normally takes care of things within a few days with applications of 3-4 times a day. We've always gotten it through our pc dr. I hope this helps, that rash is both uncomfortable and unattractive,a point which always bothered my daughter greatly. Best of luck to you!
