Diet pills aren't safe for people with high blood pressure or any type of heart problem.
Exercise and diet change is your best bet for weight loss. You could see a dietitian to help you get started on the food part. For exercise, gentle is fine as long as it's regular (maybe starting 3 days/week at least 30mins and work toward 5 days/week at least 30mins) anything in the water can be a great gentle exercise, gentle stretching or yoga, walking, a stationary bike, etc
