Hello buletski23. A combination of medication along with therapy is the preferred choice in treating depression. Major Depression, Primary Depression, Reactive Depression, Secondary Depression to name a few. Regards pledge.

Hi, buletski! As Pledge has said, depression requires medical help ~ either from your PCP or by referral to a mental health agency or psychiatrist.
Best wishes, WCV

Therapy is needed with the medications because you will change your sadness with proper meds but haven't changed the cause. The therapist can help you solve the inner pain and you can regain your confidence, find solutions and return to a happier life. It has worked for me as well as others. Please give it a try. Karen
