I've had the pill and I forgot to take it one time. I had to take one right away and my times changed. I dont like the pill because of I'm a little forgetful. I heard the shot makes you sick , and the implant is ok. Different side effects for different people I'm sure.
Try setting an alarm on your cell phone to remind you to take your pill. You may want to see your Dr to discuss other birth control options. Many women love Depo Provera (the shot) and others do like implants. They are more long time solutions but you still have to keep track of when your shot is due (every 13 weeks or so) and the implants are 3-5 years depending on the kind you get. There is also the Nuva Ring which is a flexible ring that goes into the vagina for three weeks continuously then is removed for a week to get your period. There are also non hormonal options like the diaphragm or condoms and spermicides. There are a lot of different options and one should work for you but you still have to be responsible enough to use them properly. The pill is a great convenient option and the key to using it is to get used to taking a pill every day until it is ingrained to do every day like brushing you teeth or taking a shower.
