... symptoms until a few months ago. It is now growing/changing and is 4.2cm. I am also having really bad swelling/pain in my abdomen. When would surgery become beneficial and/or needed? And, has anybody had surgery for this? If so, how did it go?
Usually if something becomes debilitating and affects your daily routine or quality of life, surgery becomes a more beneficial option. You and your doctor should discuss this issue and reach a mutual decision. I have not had this surgery, but have had so many other surgeries that my body looks like a patchwork quilt! With the last abdominal surgery I asked the doc to just put a zipper in for easy access --- he ignored me and gave me more pre-op drugs! hehe
Best of health to you!
