I have been on Belviq for 9 days and have had no weight loss what so ever. I've stayed the same. I'm a 25 yo female and weight 260. I ride the stationary bike or walk at least 30 minutes 5 times a week as well as weights 2 times a week. I have noticed a decrease in my appetite-I no longer go up for seconds. Is there anyone else out there with similar experience? Does it maybe take a couple of weeks to really kick in and really work for some people? I'm very frustrated. Any advice or sharing or similar stories would be great. Thanks guys!
I saw NO results for 2 full weeks after I started taking Belviq. However, after that, my weight loss really took off. So far, 37 pounds lost in 3 months, and no side effects. I can't say you would lose that much (my doctor suggested that was above average), but I would suggest being patient and sticking to your plan. By the way, DIET is actually of MORE importance than exercise when it comes to weight loss (although exercise is good for you regardless). Use a health app to track those calories/carbs (myfitnesspal has helped me).
