... developed tiny itchy painful "holes" in the skin surrounding my anus and perineum. Last January my GP connected the dots asked me about mouth sores "Yes I do" was my reply. She was thinking Behcets. Next a Rheumatologist agrees. My eyes have been spared. But the symptoms I've listed are nearly unbearable and only subside while I'm on a round of prednisone. I also have red raised skin rashes at times that itch and hurt. My question is does anyone have these symptoms alone? Part of me still wonders if it's something else. I'm really glad I found your group. I feel very alone with this
My daughter has the same symptoms as you. Her sores around her anus are gradually getting better with a steroid cream. She has had them for two months. She has constantly had mouth sores for the last 4 years. The arthritis started about a year ago. We just had her eyes checked and thankfully they are fine. She is such a trooper. We are waiting to see if our insurance will cover the Colchiceen. She also has raised painfull rashes all over her thighs. This is just so much. It's not fair. She is only 12. Have you been on Colchiceen?
