... involved in a car accident and broke my lumbar and left ribs. I have since recovered fairly well, however recently I have developed this awful pain. It resides mainly in the middle and just below the left rib cage. It starts immediately after I eat in the morning. It can get so bad and last for several hours a day or just for a few minutes after the meal. I recently underwent a colonoscopy and endoscopy which I was negative for celiacs and chrons; however I do still watch what I eat because food is still a major contributor to my pain. I don't usually have nuseau, just typically throbbing and sometimes cold sweats. My doctor has recently said IBS and put me on Linzess and abdominal pain relief medicine. I have been on it for about a month and a half, but does the pain get any better? Could it be anything else?
