Hello. Thank you for reading. I went through DT's last Saturday, peaking Sunday (with a nasty panic attack) and ending as few as two days ago still feeling the chills. I have a running script for hydrocodone. It is ready and has been picked up. I wouldn't have actively filled it but called for autofill, whenever I was desperate last week. Now, I am sitting here, doing well, feeling almost too much energy and not much pain and have 30 pills. I haven't touched one. Normally, I would have ripped the bag off in the parking lot and popped one. Sis and I had a joke about the security camera's at Walgreen's capturing every other person doing that. What now? Put them in a drawer like I used to be able to? Sell them? Help.
Hydrocodone - Been a week or more w/o anything. Feel great. New script ready. What now?

If it were me, and I had an addiction problem, I would get rid of the pills asap and not look back. You are just tempting yourself by having them around. Staying clean requires changing playmates, playgrounds and playtoys. You don't need that toy anymore.
that is wonderful to not need those but I agree with Laurie and Vonnie I would not place those in a drawer if you don't need them like Laurie said it's best not to have them around, Keep doing the positive things if it were to happen to me due to my extensive history I would find a way to rid myself of them so fast it's best not to have them around, it's time to make new friends and this is a fantastic change! I wish you continual improvement!! Keep on keeping on
GretelJones, dont sell them. That is illegal. You need to just dispose of them. Having them around is a temptation and one of these days you are going to be felling like taking one and they will start calling. If you plan to be clean, then get rid of them so there is no temptation. You can take them to the pharmacy for disposal or you can throw them in the trash but to throw them away you need to put them in a can or plastic carton and mix them with an unpalatable substance like used kitty litter or coffee grounds or best thing is to buy a little plaster of paris and mix that up and pour it over the pills. This prevents them from being dug out of the trash and getting out on the street where they could be used and may make someone sick or cause them to OD and you wouldnt want pills that came from you to do that. Good for you on your will power so far! Thumbs up for that part!!!
Oh my... If you can with all your power do not take any. It has been 4 days since this post I am just now reading. You are where so many of us want to be. You do not need them and feel you can go on without and importantly , you are not sick. So I hope you do not and have not taken them. I envy you and I admire you for your will power. I have been in the Wallmarts and bet I am on camera popping a pill in my mouth. Never again.
