i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on saturday night and took the morning after pill around 48 hours after. i am on birth control but missed 2 days that week and it was the week after my period. i am 16 and cannot afford to get pregnant, i need help on knowing what my chances are of being pregnant.
Your chances were decreased any way, even tho you forgot 2 pills. So your starting out with less of a chance then the average person. The morning after pills are about 80% effective. Its going to mess up your cycle, making your period late. Set an alarm on your phone or something, to remind you so you don't have to take it again.
Plan b is not a good option to take when you miss pills. You should use condoms. You are already taking hormones then to throw such a high dose of hormones into the mix is not the best choice unless it is your only choice (you found the missed pills after having sex) If you know before sex that you missed pills, dont rely on Plan b, use condoms. It is a lot better for your body. I know people dont like using condoms but it is either that or wait to have sex. Plan b and oral contraceptives are not the best mix. It can increase side effects from the hormones. Those hormones are not harmless that you can take them in any amount. High doses of hormones greatly increases your chances for developing blood clots, having strokes and all the other bad side effects listed on the literature.
