Of course it isn't but if you plan on regular sex you should know that the manufacturer or FDA recommends using it as infrequently as possible (they suggest a maximum of twice per year).
Why not just get on regular birth control and then you will not have to worry about unwanted pregnancy? Use a condom too if you want protection from STI's.
