All meds damage one organ or another (kidney, heart, etc). I know harvoni crystalizes in your kidneys but how bad does it leave your kidneys or any other organs?
I'm offended by this post. You "know" that Harvoni crystallizes in the kidneys. How so? I call total horseshit.
I never heard that either. Take Harvoni and have a chance to live longer because your cured of Hepatitis C ... OR don't take it and die from it... its as simple as that. Dying from liver disease is a terrible way to die. I personally know 2 people to die from it already.
I'm post harvoni and having all sorts of issues. The research isn't there, harvoni is a new drug so we really don't know what we are in store for. I think the risk is worth it for some and not others. We each need to weigh it for ourselves. Had I known, I may have waited a couple of years.
I took harvoni for the 8 week treatment. 28 pills .I started in may.2017 and my last dose was June 23 2017 .I took it at 8 am. I drank my coffee around 6 am .then started drinking water. At 8 am took my harvoni. With plenty of water .than drank water all day .never had any side effects. It was like I was taking a energy pill. I guess after reading all the negative side effects harvoni had on other people. I truly believe. Water is the answer. Keep your body hydrated with plenty of water and occasionally glass of unsweetened tea..I have felt better now at 60 years old than I did at 40 .I had contacted hep c in the 90.s
Harvoni was worth it for me, will worry about the rest later. I completed 8 weeks April 28th, just very recently got 3 month labs back and I am SVR12, NO VIRIS DETECTED. had no side effects to speak of. I would do it all over again. I have never heard of that either.
