Can I use bactrim for swollen glands in neck with pain?

If you have swollen glands in neck I would recommend you please see your doctor first. If they say that it could be due to some sort of infection then yes you should take the appropriate antibiotic they prescribe.

My friend, kaismama, is correct. You should see your doctor. It is never advisable to take leftover antibiotics as self-treatment. Different antibiotics are for different infections. If the infection is viral, antibiotics will not help. Your doctor needs to give you a diagnosis, and if bacterial, the appropriate antibiotic for your infection. Feel better soon!
