The mean serum half-lives of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim are 8 to 10 hours, respectively.

It takes 5.5 x half life's for a medicine to be totally eliminated from ones system. Therefore if using the maximum hours as half life, it would take 55 hours (5.5 x 10 hours) at least before Bactrim is eliminated from your system ... so approximately 2.5 days.

So you could breast feed after about 2.5 days. free discount card
