Hi Brewster, well yes and no; when you are talking about millions of bacteria, a hundred thousand here or there will be of no real consequence. The important thing is that while you or your partner are being treated (preferably together) that you use condoms until the infection has cleared; otherwise it becomes a merry-go-round.
