It may help but there are other antibiotics which are more effective for Impetigo.

Thanks Marvell... what other antibiotics are more effective??? If Bactrim is used... will it just take longer to rid myself of this nuisance ?

Your doctor will have to decide after looking at the infection. Augmentin or flucloxacillin may be better
