I'm specifically referring to bacteria, like Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis.
Do these have a pronounced reaction to alcohol (or alcohol sugars) in the blood, such that drinking a single beer or glass of wine (especially red) would agitate the bacteria causing nearly immediate inflammation, pressure, and/or pain in the sinus and/or middle ear?
If not those bacteria, is there another common UR infecting bacteria that does cause this type of reaction?
Alternatively, is their a commonly known fugus that attacks the sinus / middle ear which causes such a reaction?
These questions relate to a chronic sinus / middle ear issue being researched.
