I was on baclofen 10mg. every 4hrs. as need for several months. I discontinued it in Sept. 20013. When I went for a routine blood screening in April,2004 the results showed that my kidney level was very high. Was this caused by baclofen. If so, is it permanent. My Dr. said I may need to see a neuphrololist if it is still high. I am thinking of going on it 1xday for shoulder blade pain/spasms I am having after lung surgery where I had a drain that created the pain in my shoulder blade which radiates up to my shoulder and down my arm to my elbow. I am still taking pain medication. My surgeon said it could take some time. It's been 6 weeks. Will I be at risk for kidney problems if I take 1/day?
