Does anyone take this for Periodic Limb Movement Disorder? If so, at what dose? any side effects?
I take 3 x 10mg at night before bed, to relax muscles, as that's what it is, but it doesnt do anything for Periodic Limb Movement sydrome, as some nights it breaks through and wakes me up, I have discovered though, it will only happen if I go to bed before 2am, I have to therefore wait every night until 2am and I will get 6hrs without waking, otherwise anytime before that Im tortured the whole night, up and down, as I wouldnt get any sleep from the above at all.
Im going to ask my doc if there is something else he can prescribe me for it, as its ridiculas that I cant go to bed before 2am, I cannot sleep any longer than 6hrs either, and I find it so hard during the day time to stop nodding off, I dont give in and sleep during day at all, but if im watching a movie, or just sitting relaxing for awhile I will struggle to keep my eyes open, obviously 6hrs isnt enough for me at night then.
Diagnosed in late Oct 2014 got relief the first night with ropinirole, still feeling myself again. Started at .25 and still works. Re-dosing up to 1 mg or four pills per 24h allowed but some nausea so usually skip and one pill works. I thought my fatigue was from MS, diagnosed 1988. Unfamiliar with the drug you ask about but hope this is of help anyway!
I am beside myself with joy to be waking up rested. I hope you find the help you are looking for too.
