I was discharged from my pain clinic in Feb. Because of my insurance. I got my insurance changed and I'm going back tomorrow. I'm just wondering if they will give me my medicine back tomorrow?
I would concentrate tonight on how you will explain your quality of life without the pain Meds since your discharge.
I'd advise you have someone go with you to confirm everything your saying.
They will treat you probably as a brand new patient. You need to be credible and have your facts straight.
It's hard but try and keep your anxiety levels down.
Perhaps make notes tonight to reinforce what your trying to say.
Bring any medical reports,if you have them, with you.
I would imagine you will be starting again as far as examination and prescribing but it should be easy, if you were prescribed something that worked well for you in the past and their was no issue of misuse with that then I am pretty confident it will be easy to get back on that without an issue.
Good luck to you! I hope you get the pain relief you seek and deserve.
