want to know if Tramadol 50 mg is working well for others is it a antinflamatory besides being a pain pill?
Hi, i had prolapsed discs in my lower back several years ago. Although my back is a lot better now, i still get episodes of pain and stiffness, and sciatica is pretty bad. I was prescribed Tramadol when my injury first presented and it was very helpful. Tramadol is a synthetic opiate, and is 'narcotic-like'. It isn't an anti inflammatory. I must be honest and tell you that over the months my dosage increased quite dramatically and i became dependent, so please be aware that this is a medication that has quite high rates of misuse/addiction because of the way it makes you feel...
Ask your doctor about Butrans patches. They work. tramadol is not for chronic pain, it is a dangerous drug to take when you have chronic pain. Not only does it make you feel worse but your body becomes very dependment on it and you will feel like crap the few hours you have till your next dose.
