You need to consult your pediatrician, something is not right. She should be able to suck just as well when she is awake as asleep. It may be that she doesnt like the nipples or a number of things. Was she ever breast fed? Some babies who were breast fed have trouble with bottles. Your best option is to talk to your pediatrician just to be sure there is nothing wrong. Does she seem like her nose is stopped up? There are just to many things it could be. Your pediatrician can observe her sucking and see what the problem is.
