In a misunderstanding, I was supposed to get azithromycin, typhoid, and malaria medicines, but ended up only getting the Az. And Typhoid. I didn't realize my doctor had prescribed the azithromycin to me until a recent visit. I actually needed it, but the nurse I spoke to did not tell me my doctor prescribed it to me on the phone, nor did the pharmacy. I just assumed I would schedule another appointment when I returned from my trip. This was back in November. At the time, I didn't recognize the drug, so I didn't take it. Now that I'm aware of what I still have, I am wondering if I can still take it. Theoretically it was exposed to the heat of Thailand, room temperatures, and whatever temperature checked baggage goes through. It's still in its original bottle, and was never opened.
