not able to get brand name at cvs please tell me how to the generic does not work for me
Have your Dr sign the prescription as "brand name only" if he signs it is okay to substitute a generic, they will give the generic. Sometimes you can just ask for the name brand. I have done that at our CVS when I was on a drug that I couldnt take the generic. The brand name costs a lot more-also your insurance may not cover brand name drugs if a generic is available. Some insurances cover them at a higher copay but some dont cover them at all when a generic is available so in this case you would have to pay for the whole cost out of pocket.
