How to control excessive sweating and night time leg and feet pain?
I found the only way to control the profuse sweating was to lie down and elevate your feet. I would be soaked through my clothes within 5 min. I just needed to get my legs up so my BP would get back to normal.
You lose all those good electrolytes with the swear which will leave you weak.
You didn't mention any pain meds. You need meds like Gabapentin or Lyrica specific for nerve pain.
If it's cramping there is s different drug but I'm blanking out... Quinadine ??? I have to look it up.
Drink plenty of fluids but not after 3 hours before bed so you don't wake up to pee.
Your sleep patterns may be a problem. Ask your doctor how he feels. Strict sleep meds Restoril, Ambien are good but you can become tolerant so stay on the lowest dose for as long as you can.
There are drugs that are anti-psychotics that can be used "off label" for sleep.
I'll tell you what I tried and what worked :
The first 2 were awful for me. I didn't sleep but passed out while trying to get to refrigerator to eat. Big time weight gain!
No way to control it because it's ravishing.
I gained over 30 lbs in 2-1/2 months!
trazodone is my favorite along with Ambien. Some people use it alone and have good results.
The trazodone puts me to sleep (actually feel tiredness) and the Ambien keeps me asleep. Beware if you have sleep apnea.
I think I hit on most of your issues.
I'll be praying for you.
Don't hesitate to write in if you can't sleep and in pain. There are insomniacs here too.
