I starting to think, they gave me sugar pills. is that even possible. conditions: add, drug resistant depression and or bipolar 2, anhedonia, anxiety. I have been on lots of depression meds and mood stabiliser and add all the ritalin base meds, all the adderall drugs and dexedrine was my last resort, I heard lots of good review online, out of all the add meds i tried, dexedrine is the least effective. adderall work sometimes but side effects are tough.
this might not be helpful because i am not familiar with dexedrine. however, i have taken adderall xr, it worked as exactly as it should have. i was so happy when it finally went generic. the generic (teva) was like taking a sugar pill, seriously. it did nothing, i thought it was fascinating (though annoying, of course). i have had generics not be as good as name brand, but never had one that did absolutely nothing. i tried it for 17 days.
and please, to the forum members reading this there is no point in telling me that generics are exactly like the brand (except for the fillers). it's just not true. science and people who take certain generics know the truth.
i hope you find the relief you need and deserve. i don't know if there is a generic you are taking. if so, you may want to consider trying brand dexedrine.
I'm surprised you find Add's give you better results, but everyones chemistry is different, so such is life. Did your doctor start you on dexedrine? it seems like the purest form and is hard to get, so try upping adder all or try ritalin, its a long trial n error process…good luck
