As everyone knows, the price spiked about 300% within the past few months. Also, after reading other posts regarding side effects of generic adderall, I realize the tremendous tiredness and almost inability to function approximately 4 hours after each dose, has become unbearable. So, I'm looking for a drug that is cheaper and also might not have that terrible side effect. I almost feel worse some times than if I hadn't taken anything at all. Not sure what to do or ask my dr for, but I know I can't afford the adderall right now. PLEASE anyone, I really am reaching the end of my rope trying to afford these drugs and trying to find a good alternative. Would really appreciate anybody's help. Thanks
Hello sgs8686. I really don't know if say, zoloft, prozac or even paxil might be a help to you. You could go the generic route on paxil. It might be worth a try. I understand your delema. If anything mention these to your doctor, and see what she/he thinks of either of the three as an alternative. Might be worth a look at. Very best to you,
I am sorry I don't have an answer to your problem, but I just wanted to THANK YOU for posting this! I was starting to think I was insane... taking generic Adderall and becoming DEAD TIRED and not able to function 4 hours later! I was taking more and more and was not seeing an improvement. I eventually stopped taking it and have been struggling through out the day ever since. My doctor wants to try me on a long acting form of Ritalin, so here is to hoping for the best!
First off Costco pharmacy is extremely cheaper than anywhere else a four hundred dollar scrip for Adderall generic is 60.66 for 90, 20 milligrams. No membership needed. I had to take (honeymoon) from Adds as we all build a tolerance to amphetamines very quickly. I took a month off after skipping dose to every other day and the to every two till I weaned off. Do not just stop taking it as the result could be very bad. Taking Magnesium while on Adds helps It's absorption and preventing tolerance levels. I would advice you to Google Adderall and tolerance for educational purposes.
