... SVT, have had this for 10 years now, on all types of meds, I feel like this pesty a-fib is controlling me instead of me controlling it, does anyone else feel this way
Aug of last year, I discovered I had A-Flib. It knocked me off my feet. Put on warfarin the rest of my life. I also take blood pressure meds. Am 74 yrs. old. Was working at the time. After 3 months went back to work. Work in nursing home taking care of others I watch what I eat. Take multi vit & mineral. Take extra vit B', B-12 and D, and Biotin . 1000 mg Biotin for hair, although I don't think it is helping a lot. I hadn't had any more bad spells with A-flib.
I had an ablation 3 wks ago for WPW. A close friend had an ablation in May for A fib . We are both doing fine. We both have our lives back. We are both off Metoprolol. Everyone is different with different circumstances. I was born with WPW syndrome and for the first time in my life, I am not feeling constantly stressed and exhausted. I am a new person and hope for the best solution for you.
I picked up Epstein Bar which compromised my liver
(blood filtering organ) so it could no longer filter out the toxins in my blood.
I believe that was because I had drank lots of high fructose corn syrup in
my carbonated drinks while working 30 years. Since my liver could not
clean my blood, when I come into contact with toxins like MSG's (I
think) my Hypothalmus senses them and I get a reaction from my Brain to the Heart. Saying Heart pump the blood and get the toxins out, because as you well know your kidneys are working overtime.
I have been placed on several medications, and I have discovered that
some of the generic give me the same side effects as the MSG's . So
I stay completely away from MSG's but that is a battle in itself, because
their names are constantly changing. So far I have found that I take a
regular Cardizem LA 120mg daily and have a generic Diltiazem 60mg for
a back up when I go into AF. I don't like the warfarin, so presently I take
Kyloic garlic as a blood thinner daily. So far so good. My trigger is MSG
Has anyone else realized this trigger?
