A steroid cream can be used to treat atopic dermatitis. As the eyelid is a very sensitive area only a mild corticosteroid cream should be used eg. Hydrocortisone 0.5% - 1% cream. A stronger steroid cream should only be used on your doctors recommendation. See your pharmacist for more advice.
