... a LOT, and I had no idea why. And as I was driving home, I kept getting suicidal thoughts. I was driving on the wrong side of the road, purposely swerving my car, etcetera. Why would it cause this? Isn't this medicine supposed to help me with these issues, instead of bring them out ten times worse? And does this mean that any anti-anxiety medicine will do this to me?
Hi there, I was prescribed lorazepam for sleep & my problem was when I stopped taking it. I didn't cry nor had suicidal tendencies but I had insomia that lasted 72hrs & strange analitical thinking. I was on it for 4yrs & took 9 days to get off. It was replaced with the non- narcotic trazodone which has worked well for me. Everytime we take a new medication we run the risk of it having an adverse affect on us. Wishing you the best. Innerspirit
