Atenolol is used in the treatment of high blood pressure; anxiety; migraine prevention; alcohol withdrawal; heart attack , and belongs to the drug class cardioselective beta blockers.

Propranolol is used in the treatment of performance anxiety; migraine prevention; benign essential tremor; high blood pressure; mitral valve prolapse , and belongs to the drug classes group II antiarrhythmics, non-cardioselective beta blockers.

Everyone who answered is correct. I don't know your reason for taking these meds, but Propranolol has worked wonders for migraine prevention for me. Best wishes, Ruthie free discount card
