my blood pressure fluctuates from 150/90 to as low as 97/67. Should I skip taking medication? thanks for your response.
Blood pressure varies from moment to moment if you go from one activity to no activity and so forth. It's only consistent if you sit or lay very still. You also need very high quality BP equipment to get an accurate and repeatable reading. Most over-the-counter machines aren't accurate and repeat results will vary. Our family had to order a good one through our pharmacist before we had a good machine that could repeat the same results under the same conditions.
If you have a good BP machine, and your readings are under the same conditions of being restful and calm, your next step is to call your Dr. and see him/her about your BP variations. No one should tell you to stop your medication based on what you've said here.
