um astmaticand having been recommended the spray when i experience attack,how bad is it using the spray,incase of an altenative medication,which one can i use,and i only have attacks when weather changes to cloudy,rainny weather???

To treat asthma symptoms you are generally prescribed a steroid inhaler and a bronchodilator. (I'm not sure what the names of these inhalers would be in your country). The steroid inhalers are used regularly as prevention and the bronchodilators are used to relieve symptoms in an acute attack.
