I am on aspirin after a mild stroke, and I understand that beers are good for you, so I want to know if drinking beers
and taking aspirin will cause a problem
I'm not sure where you got your information but one beer or wine drink a day is okay. Some studies have shown that a small alcohol intake may be beneficial but they are speaking of one drink only. DO NOT mix alcohol with aspirin therapy however, aspirin and alcohol together greatly increases the risk for stomach bleeding ( hemorrhaging in some cases) Not a good idea to mix the two.
