Does it say codeine anywhere in that name? No, so there is no codeine. Drug manufacturers can't sneak other meds in what we think we are taking. It is great for a headache. Butalbital is a mild sedative relative to barbituates however. So don't take more then you need.
If it is generic, it should state if it has codeine or it may have #3 among the medication names. Fiorinal #3 has codeine but Fiorinal does not. If you are unsure, call your pharmacist. He will let you know for certain.
